What makes Lonesome Duck Lodge unique is
its variety. Guests from around
the world love the clean, cozy, comfortable guest houses...and
the vast array of activities available. The fly fishing is
world class; Crater Lake National Park is 35 minutes away;
there are seven wildlife refuges in the Klamath Basin; boats
and canoes are available for guest use; watch the horses romp
in the pasture or take a llama for a walk.
All houses have fully equipped kitchens
in addition to a gas BBQ on the porch. Pots, pans and linens
are all included in your house – just bring your favorite
ingredients.
For groups of 6 or more and our corporate
guests we are pleased to offer a meal inclusive stay if
requested. Great BBQ’s and home style meals are the
specialty of the ranch.
Arrowhead Cottage: This is an original ranch house that has been
totally renovated. It has a massive stone fireplace featuring
the ranch brand and other artifacts. This cottage has two
bedrooms, one bath, a dining room, living room, screened porch,
and fully equipped kitchen. The large covered porch is the
ideal place to relax, enjoy a glass of wine and watch the
sunset melt into the river.
Rivers Edge: Watch
the Williamson roll by from every room in this spacious 1500
sq. ft. log home.This comfortable home has two bedrooms
and a loft, two full bathrooms, living room with a wood
stove, dining room, kitchen and a large covered porch
overlooking the lawn. It also has an irresistible hammock, and
the river.
Eagles Nest: This
log home has the same floor plan as the Rivers Edge cabin. The
large front porch overlooks a pond and meadow with majestic
views of the mountains. The perfect spot for birdwatching.
Experience the rustic beauty of our hand-hewn log homes. A
short walk from Eagles Nest takes you to an old wagon crossing
on the Williamson – one of the best wading opportunities
on the river!
